Ezra 3:8
In the second month of the second year after their arrival at the house of God in Jerusalem, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jozadak and the rest of the people (the priests and the Levites and all who had returned from the captivity to Jerusalem) began the work. They appointed Levites twenty years old and older to supervise the building of the house of the Lord.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, Nov. 19, AFTER CAPTIVITY (Ezr. 3:8). What happened after the people of Israel had returned back home from captivity? Did they lose everything?
1. Spirit to reuniting.
They were still united strongly. They worked together. They supported each other. They obeyed the leader.

2. Spirit to restarting.
They were spiritful to restart their life from zero. They got nothing. They didn’t depend on anybody. They stand on their own feet. They just had themselves.

3. Spirit to rebuilding.
They kept believing God. They gave sacrifices, burned offering, rebuilt the temple. They loved their temple. They didn’t their faith and heart to worship God. Awesome. We have to be like that. ASH.
