Joshua 8:34
Afterward, Joshua read all the words of the law—the blessings and the curses—just as it is written in the Book of the Law.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, Apr. 22, BLESSINGS AND CURSES (Jos.8:34). Notice the order of the words is very interesting. We can learn several things in this thing.
a. The start.
God always start with the blessings. God is love. He starts the communication, relationship, acquaintance with men always with blessing. When he meets with men, he starts by saying blessings, shalom.
b. The number.
God has many blessings. He is not only have 1 blessing. He is the source of blessings. His blessings are never ends.
c. The package.
Blessings are given in a unique package with curses. If a man refuses the blessings, then, the curses will come. Although, we don’t want the curses, but the curses still would be coming. They are In a package. They are entailed. They are connected closely. They will come by themselves automatically. So, let’s be careful always with our life. ASH.
