Psalms 98:8
Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sun, May 8, CLAP (Ps. 98:8). The world is full with mystery. There are many things may happen in the world. When they happen, we don’t see. When we see, we don’t understand. For example, just like in this verse. This verse mentioned about 1 thing, the rivers clapped their hands. So let’s focus on the rivers clap their hands.
1. Rivers have hands.
We don’t see how are the hands of the river. Are their hands have 5 fingers like human? Are their hands have left and right hands? Are their hands have nails? We don’t know and can’t see. But it might be some kinds of unique hands which God had created for them.

2. Rivers may clap.
The hands of the river could be used for clapping. To be hit to each other to make sound. When they clap? What is the rythm? For how long they might clap their hands? How many variations of their clap? How hard the volume of their clapping?

3. Rivers have intelligence.
Rivers have some kind of knowledge to respond, to know when to clap. How do they decide when to clap? Do they respond to music? Voice of men? Change of nature? What is the meaning of the clap? How smart they are? So many questions, we can’t answer. But for sure, they love to praise God. Let’s praising God together with the rivers. ASH.
