Numbers 28:11
“ ‘On the first of every month, present to the Lord a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.”
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, March 3, DEFECT (Num. 28:11). God has been teaching the people to always give the best to God. How can then people not to understand this truth from time to time? How then people still give not the best to God? Many times, people are tempted not to give the best to God. They would give the second best or in the worst case, the remnant and the refused ones. Why?
a. Feel lose.
They fell lose if giving the best to God. They want to do business with God. They think that if giving the best, then, what about the worse? Who want to buy or have the worse? Who want to tend the worse? If giving the best then, what would they get in return?
b. Feel lack.
They feel that if giving the best to God, they feel that their belonging would be lack, not full, not enough.
c. Feel little.
They have not too many best cattles. Best cattles are few or little in number. They have more worse cattles, average cattles, lower in quality cattles. What about us today, do we give the best to God? Best time? Best energy? Best day? Best stuff? Best effort? Best this and that? Let’s give the best to God. ASH.
