Ruth 2:17
So Ruth gleaned in the field until evening. Then she threshed the barley she had gathered, and it amounted to about an ephah.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, May 31, EVENING (Ruth 2:17). Ruth was such a good woman. She really was an amazing woman.
a. She had the initiative to work.
She asked a permission to her mother in law to go to work hard at the field, where usually it was the job of men.

b. She didn’t ask pity from other people.
She didn’t wait other people to feed them. She never begged other people’s pity.

c. She didn’t let and ask her mother in law to earn money or food instead.
She didn’t ask her mother to find a job, so that they could eat.

d. She didn’t do any mischiefments.
She didn’t steal, do any prostitution, became beggar or other bad deeds.

e. She didn’t do things lazily.
She worked from the morning till evening. She worked as hard as other men or workers at the field. So, a believer must be like this. The belief must shown in the real life. So, let’s show our belief daily and earthly. ASH.
