Deuteronomy 33:1
This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced on the Israelites before his death.
Shalom.sdr, my devotion today, Tue, Apr. 13, MAN OF GOD (Deut. 33:1). This is the title of Moses. His title is not professor or doctor. He was not called as a man of education nor a man of technology, although he was very smart person. He got all education in Egypt. He was not called as a man of war, although he was trained as a military leader. His education and so forth were so awesome, but this title is better than all other titles.
a. Show the forgiveness of God.
Although, he was a sinner, he wasn’t called as a sinner. He was not remembered as a law breaker. He, even, was given this honorary title. I believe Moses in heaven is very proud of this title, yet he was very humble, because of his unworthiness.
b. Show the limitation of man.
All other titles can be achieved by man’s effort. Only this title is endowed by God. If God doesn’t give this title, then, nobody can achieve it.
c. Show the authority of God.
The giver of the title must be higher than the one whom is given. God can give titles. Man can’t give a title to God. What title do you want for you? ASH.
