Psalms 138:8
The LORD will vindicate me; your love, LORD, endures forever — do not abandon the works of your hands

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, June 17, VINDICATE (Ps. 138:8). The world has lost the meaning of truth. Everyone considers himself as the truth. On the other hand, he considers other people wrong. Although, actually, they know not what is truth. What they are sure as truth, still not always be the truth. Even, an intelligent person like Pilate didn’t know what is truth. He asked Jesus, what is truth. So what is truth?
1. God is standard of truth.
God knows what is the real truth. He is the measurer of truth. God is the judge for the truth. In him, there is no ambiguity. No abstract. No shadow. All is holy, right and correct.

2. God is the truth.
He doesn’t only know the truth. But, he can practice and exercise the truth himself perfectly. His actions and everything else can be evaluated openly and publicly. All people from all generations and religions can evaluate him. Who can judge him? Who can find his mistake?

3. God brings the truth.
The last point is God doesn’t only being the absolute and final truth, but he also can justify and vindicate a person to be true. He has the right and authority to do it. His decision is final and authoritative. No one may interrupt and intervene his decision. May God vindicate us. ASH.
