2 Corinthians 6:7
In truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Tue, Sept. 22, WEAPON (II Cor. 6:7). Apparently, there are many wepaons in the world. Mostly the weapons are to attack and kill. Weapons are lethal and dangerous. It makes people dead. It takes the life out of the people. But Paul introduce us with different kind of weapon this morning. The weapon which brings life, salvation, hope. It won’t take life. It gives life. It is righteousness. How powerful it is? It is as sharp as the sword. It is as strong as the steel. But it brings great benefits to the people, not dangers. The question is, how to take care this weapon, to make it sharper? Not to grind it. Not to saw it. Not to cut it. Just to adjust it with The Bible. The more our life in line with The Bible, the sharper and stronger our weapon is. Let’s prepare our weapon. It is very useful in the time like these. (ASH)
