Exodus 31:2
“See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,
Exodus 31:3
and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Tue, Dec. 29, BEZALEL (Ex. 31:2-3). How can we don’t know such a lucky person like Bezalel? I believe, if we ask many Christians about who is Bezalel, nobody would know him. He was luckier than Solomon. Solomon only got 1, that is wisdom. Yet, everybody knows him. He was greater also than Moses. Moses had to study and work hard to get all the knowledge and wisdom of Egypt. Bezalel was greater than Solomon and Moses. He got all. He got wisdom, understanding and knowledge plus Spirit of God. How great was he?
a. He got the gift of the spirit.
The Spirit of God did exist at the old times. He filled particular person with his presence.
b. He got the gift of the reason.
He must be greater than Einstein, Stephen Hawking and all the great minds in the world who ever lived.
c. He got the gift of the skill.
He could do many skillful jobs. He could do many handcrafts. I believe, in this side, Solomon and Moses couldn’t excel. God blesses his children specifically and graciously. Let’s use our gifts for his glory. ASH.
