Leviticus 7:36
On the day they were anointed, the Lord commanded that the Israelites give this to them as their perpetual share for the generations to come.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Thu, Jan.14, PERPETUAL (Lev. 7:36). God is different from men. God never changes. Whatever he says are true and holy. No mistake. No harm. No danger. Perhaps, we don’t understand at the time the word of God is given. But, we can be sure, they are fine, safe and beneficial. Therefore, we better follow and obey.
a. His mind never changes.
He may use different way to communicate with us. But he knows it all before he does it. He does it all with same purpose. He has no evil mind. His mind is always true and good.
b. His character never changes.
He is love and just. His character never been affected by human’s sins. He deals with human according to his character. He doesn’t recompense us according to what we deserve. He always deals with us based on his character alone.
c. His existence never changes.
He is holy and eternal. He never becomes sinful. He never dies, stops being God, disappear, gone. He exists forever. He exists beyond time, space and limitations. Therefore, such words like perpetual.can be ascribed to him. Let’s honor him in our life. ASH.
