Leviticus 21:7
“They must not marry women defiled by prostitution or divorced from their husbands, because priests are holy to their God.

Leviticus 21:13
The woman he marries must be a virgin.

Leviticus 21:14
He must not marry a widow, a divorced woman, or a woman defiled by prostitution, but only a virgin from his own people.”

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Thu, Jan. 28, MARRY (Lev. 21:7, 13, 14). It is interesting here to read that a priest is ok to marry. Marriage is not dirty. It is not sinful. It is not prohibited by God. What is prohibited by God is not the marriage, but the partner with whom he wed. The partner:
1. Has to be a woman.
He shouldn’t marry with a man. The same gender marriage is a detestable before God.

2. Has to be a grown woman.
He can’t marry with a little girl. He may marry to a grown woman. A woman whom has reach the age of marriage. A woman whom can make a consistent decision to leave the parents and live with the husband forever.

3. Has to be a lawful woman.
She has to get the permission from her parents to marry.

4. Has to be a holy woman, a virgin.
She has never been wedded to someone else. She never becomes the wife of someone else.

5. Has to be 1 woman.
He can’t marry with many women. Marriage is only once. Marriage is not temporary. It is not trial and error.

6. Has to be a Jewish woman.
He shouldn’t marry a woman from the other nation. He has to find a woman in his own people. So, the marriage would be blessed by God. ASH.
