Deuteronomy 32:50
There on the mountain that you have climbed you will die and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, Apr. 12, NEBO (Deut. 32:50). Nebo is the place of burying the Moses’ corpse. He died there. Nebo is a mountain, not just a high ground or a hill. Of course, it is high. It is so high so that on its peak, Moses could see to a very far place, the promised land. Nebo
a. The proof of God’s punishment.
Eventhough Moses was obedient in many things, great in skill and education, etc., but God didn’t exempt him from punishment from his disobedient. Sin is sin. God is decisive. He punishes justly. He never compromises with whoever whom hurt his feeling. He doesn’t only say, but he also proof it.

b. The proof of God’s promise.
God never lies. Whatever he says is true. He could watch the promised land from a far. He could see that the promised land was real. If we go to Nebo, we can also see the promised land from.a far.

c.The proof of God’s power.
God can give and take life. He knows perfectly when and where. Moreover, he determines when and where. He gave Moses extra strength to climb to Mt. Nebo. So, let’s always honor him in our life. ASH.
