Psalms 40:11
Do not withhold your mercy from me, LORD; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, Mar. 11, LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS (Ps. 40:11). It is really amazing to know that love and faithfulness are the greatest gifts that God gives to us. But there are more blessings when we meditate on these gifts.
1. Inseparable.
Love and faithfulness are inseparable. Where there is love, there is faithfulness. Those 2 always present together. They never conflict to each other. They comes in a package. They always equip each other. Love always contains faihfulness and on the other hand.
2. Consistent.
Love and faithfulness are not only in a moment. Those 2 are given as a blessing, not as a trial and error. When they are given, they are given away eternally to the recipient. They are not present for certain achievements. They are unconditionally given.
3. Strong.
These 2 are strong. They have fighting power. They can protect. They are not only can be felt. They are not only inside the heart. They have impact in concrete actions. These 2 can always protect is to do whatever God wants us to be, to do good to everybody. ASH.
