Jeremiah 39:10
But Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard left behind in the land of Judah some of the poor people, who owned nothing; and at that time he gave them vineyards and fields.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Thu, July 9, POOR (Jer. 39:10). I remember a very popular song, Give Thanks. The lyric says that God will make the poor rich. Is it only a lyric? Is it only a myth? Is it only an empty words? No. We can see here, that the words became reality. Jerusalem was taken knto exile. But Nebuzaradan, the head of the imperial guard left some people in town. Especially the poor. They were even given a vineyards and fields. What? Poor people were given vineyards and fields? It is impossible, isn’t it? It is impossible for the poor to have a vineyards and fields. They became rich people in a blink of eye. Yes, God can make the poor rich in an implausible ways. Is it only at the ancient time? Is it only for The Israelite? The sme God can do the same thing to us today. Let’s have faith in him
