Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
Praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sun, Sept. 6, ADDED (Acts 2:41, 47). Many times, God works in ways man can’t understand. Sometimes, it seems very difficult to win people for Christ. The other times, it seems very easy to win ones. Noah, Isaiah, Ezekiel and Jeremiah’s preachings were despised. John The Baptist and Peter’s preachings, on the other hand, was amazingly had a great impact. They touched the heart of the people deeply. The people was moved completely. The were willing to be baptized and so forth. The number was added also strangely. Sometimes, the number can be the whole region (John The Baptist). Sometimes can be 3000 people at once. Sometimes can be added daily with unclear number. Sometimes with miracles. The other times, with no miracle at all. Sometimes with a hard preachings. The other times, with soft ones. We can not understand his ways of working. But we can understand 1 thing, he is working. He never sleeps nor slumbers. He always works at all times in all situations. Including in this corona time, he is working too. Just believe and trust him. He will show the great result of his working later.(ASH)
