Leviticus 6:15
The priest is to take a handful of the finest flour and some olive oil, together with all the incense on the grain offering, and burn the memorial portion on the altar as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, Jan. 13, ALTAR (Lev.6:15). Can we imagine the burdensome, tiresome and troublesome for the people to move everyday for 40 years? If we feel boring today, what about them? We don’t move everyday. They had to move almost everyday. We go to work almost everyday, but our house don’t move everyday. They moved their living places almost everyday.
a. They had to erect the tent for their family again if they move.
They needed to protect the family from the wind, sand, etc. They needed to erect their tents. How heavy was it?

b. They had to erect the tent of meeting again.
They had to worship God. Regular worships or particular ones. Therefore, they had to erect it wherever they went.

c. They had to build the altar again.
Altar was an inseparable thing from the live of The Israelites. It was a must till today. They had to collect big stones and piled them up to be an altar big enough for a bull. They had to offer a bull for their worship. So the altar had to be big and strong enough for a bull to be offered on it. So, be happy. God spares us from moving everyday. ASH.
