Malachi 3:13
“You have spoken arrogantly against me,” says the Lord. “Yet you ask, ‘What have we said against you?’

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, Aug 14, ARROGANT (Mal. 3:13). The last enemy of God whom God defeated was death (I Cor. 15). Our last enemy which we have to defeat is arrogant. Perhaps, we can look as if we have thrown away other sins, but if we haven’t thrown away this sin, we haven’t really thrown away any sin. Because, the beginning of all sins is pride, arrogant and boast. Remember the devil fell in sin is also because of arrogance. Arrogance shows himself in many faces. Arrogance considers self is better than all people. Arrogance considers other people inferior than himself. Arrogance considers everybody dirtier than himself. Arrogance considers his opinion is the best than other’s. And so forth. If we don’t deal with this sin, we haven’t done anything. Actually, we have to confess and crucify this sin as the first, not as the last. But, many people confess and as if can repent from other sins easier than this sin. They keep the sin of arrogance and don’t realize that actually they have done nothing. They can even be the spiritual leader whom looked very spiritual, but still have this sin hidden in their heart. It makes him not spiritual at all. Therefore, we have to deal with this issue. Do we still have this sin of arrogance in our life? (ASH)
