Psalms 18:34 He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
Psalms 18:39 You armed me with strength for battle; you humbled my adversaries before me.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Thu, Feb. 17, BATTLE (Ps. 18:34, 39). God is not only known for his love and kindness. Yes, God is known for his loving kindness, but he also known by his might. He is a mighty warrior. He never lose. He is the best warrior ever. But on top of that, he wants us also to be good warriors.
1. He tells us.
He tells us from the beginning, that life would not be easy. Life is a battle ground. Life is full with battle. He is also telling us that our enemies are not the people, but the principalities.

2. He teaches us.
God teaches us to win the battle. He wants us to be the winners, not losers. He teaches us the weapons in the battle. He teaches us the lethal weapons to face the battle, that is the power of God, close to God, cling on God, stand on the word, etc.

3. He trains us.
God also letting us go into the battle. Not only telling and teaching theoretically, but also allowing so many adversaries in our life, so that we would be strong and be blessings for everybody. ASH.
