Psalms 27:3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.
Psalms 27:4 One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sat, Feb. 26, BESIEGE (Ps. 27:3-4). David was a man of God. He really loved God deeply. He stated it. He uttered it by his mouth. He loved God and showed it in reality.
1. He said it.
He didn’t say inside his heart. He didn’t say it secretly. He said it publicly and openly. He said it oftenly and clearly. Everybody knew that he loved God. Even, his enemies or foreign kings knew that he loved God.

2. He wrote it.
He made a writing, record of his feeling. He turned it into a song. He composed it. He arranged it. He sang it. He taught it. Everybody could also sing it. Everybody could see and follow his steps.

3. He did it.
This was the greatest of David. He did what he felt. He really worshipped God consistently. Nothing could stop his worship. He did it although he was busy. He did it although he was old. He did it although he was besieged by his enemies. Not only in his leisure time. Not only when everything was alright. Even, in the eyes of his enemies, he still did his worship. What about us? ASH.
