2 Chronicles 9:14
Not including the revenues brought in by merchants and traders. Also all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the territories brought gold and silver to Solomon.

2 Chronicles 9:24
Year after year, everyone who came brought a gift—articles of silver and gold, and robes, weapons and spices, and horses and mules.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, Oct. 20, BLESSED (II Chron. 9:14, 24). Solomon was really blessed by God. It was exactly like the meaning of his name, complete. The bessings were:
a. Abundant.
Solomon’s wealth was really amazing. He made gold throne and many other gold ornaments, shields, goblets, so forth.

b. Highest value.
Silver was considered low value in the time of Solomon. Everything was made by the best and most expensive materials, gold, ivory, precious stones, etc.

c. Coming by themselves.
They were not seeked. They were not paid. Solomon didn’t look for them. They came by themselves. Even, they came from such a far away countries, Arab and so forth. So don’t seek the materials. Seek God. God would bless us according to his will. ASH.
