Numbers 11:6
But now we have lost our appetite; we never see anything but this manna!”
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sun, Feb. 14, BORING (Num. 11:6). Will you be boring if you eat manna everyday for 40 years? Will you be boring if you eat rice three times a day for 50 years? This year, I’m 51, and I have been bored for eating rice. At the first time, they were so excited and amazed with this miraculous sweet bread from heaven? But after a moment, they became bored. We can learn
a. They didn’t have to work hard to get it.
They don’t have to go anywhere. They just collected it in front of their tents. The bread came to them
b. They didn’t have to pay anything.
The bread was given to them for free. They didn’t have to worry to eat as much as they can eat each day. No worry of lacking.
c. They didn’t have to worry about the preservations.
No fridge at the time. They didn’t have to worry about keeping it fresh. God had kept it fresh everyday. The miracle and blessing like this still making them boring? Really ungrateful. Do we give God thanks for the blessing he had given to us? ASH.
