Numbers 34:2
“Command the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance is to have these boundaries:
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Tue, March 9, BOUNDARY (Num. 34:2). Following and living in Jesus is not just like what many people think. Some people will think that if we have lived in Christ, we may do whatever we like. It’s just like we have a license to sin, because, we have the ticket to heaven already. Because, we’ve been guaranteed to go to heaven. Because the salvation is fixed. No. Big mistake. What is right?
a. There are certain boundaries.
God gave the boundaries, limit and rules before the people entered into Canaan. They are not given after they entered into Canaan. God is not a responsive God. God is an omniscience God. He knows everything needed and beneficial for the people.
b. There are complete boundaries.
North, south, west and east. So, they have complete guide to live in Canaan.
c. There are constant boundaries.
The boundaries were fixed ever since. They were not changed. God had given them certain areas. They suppose not to go out from the areas and subdued the other areas. On the other hand, other people should not enter into their areas too. The same thing applies for us. Let’s live in the boundaries, safe and sound. For us and for other people. ASH.
