2 Chronicles 20:18
Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sun, Oct. 31, BOW DOWN (II Chron. 20:18). Notice, the king bowed down till his face touched the ground. He was so humble. He was so loving God. He was so sincere. We could see from
1. Bowing down.
He didn’t only nod his head, turn his head down, move his head down. He didn’t only bowing, kneeling. He was really bowed down.

2. Bowed to the ground.
He bowed down till his face touched the ground. Not only his forehead.

3. Bowing down in public.
He, as the king, didn’t hesitate to do it in public. He did it in front of many people. He didn’t let someone else did it. He himself did it. The people of Judah and Jerusalem. He did it in the large gathering. Everybody could see and eventually followed his example. We don’t know how long he did it. But, what we know that he did it in his worship to God. Let’s always humble ourselves before God. ASH.
