1 Chronicles 13:8
David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God, with songs and with harps, lyres, timbrels, cymbals and trumpets.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sat, Sept. 25, CELEBRATE (I Chron. 13:8). Notice, how David celebrate. He didn’t do it carelessly. He did it in such a way to show his heart. He really loved God.
1. All his might.
He danced, jumped, moved, ran, bowed his body and etc. He used his strength to worship God. He didn’t do anything else. His focus was only 1, worship God. Nothing and nobody disturbed him. Nobody stopped him. It was the time between him and God.
2. All his voice.
He sang many songs. Not only 1 song and stop. He sang continuously. He didn’t only hear other people singing, but he also sang by himself.
3. All his skill.
He celebrated with all of his skill. He sang and played the instrument. He was well known for his skill in playing the harp. He must be played it also. Let’s woship him with all of our strength. ASH.
