Deuteronomy 1:26
But you were unwilling to go up; you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, March 12, COMMAND (Deut. 1:26). Command is not just an info or advice. It is not a choice statement. It is different of them all. Today, we are going to meditate about commnad.
a. It is demanding.
It forces the receiver to do it. It chases the receiver to do it wherever he go. It never stops until the receiver does it.
b. It implies consequence, if it is not done.
c. It fits with us.
It is not out of our hand. It is not beyond of our ability. It is made and design for us to be able to do it.
d. It is for our benefit.
It is not to give us burdens, problems and difficulties. It is to give us improvements. So, let’s willingly and happily do the command of God. ASH.
