1 Timothy 1:13
Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Thu, Oct. 1, COMPLETE (I Tim.1:13). A man who really repent relaizes that his sins are complete. Notice, Paul confessed that his sins were complete. Not only many, but complete. It covered verbal (blasphemer), actual (persecutor) and psychological (violent). He didn’t only saying, but also doing and feeling. His sins were complete. Yet, God saved him. How did God save him?
a. By forgiving his complete sins.
His sins were forgiven completely. Not only 1 sin, but all sins had been forgiven.

b. By calling and using him as an apostle.
He didn’t only forgiven, but also used by God. His life was not useless. The cruelest man was changed and used by God.

c. By giving him fruits in the ministry.
He could see the fruits of his preaching. In this case, Timothy. Timothy was the fruit of his ministry. He wanted to believe Paul and became his follower, even his spiritual son.
