Ezekiel 18:20
The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sat, CREDIT (Eze. 18:20). Life on earth is the opportunity of getting credits. Each person has his shots to accumulate credits. This doesn’t mean that his credits are the things that determine his salvation. Credits can’t cleanse sins. Credits, actually, mean so litlle before God. Therefore, it’s called as credits not merits. Even, merits can’t save a person. Because, the merit has been defiled by the person’s sins. Credit is beneficial for the person to glorify God. He can please the merciful God by his little credits. Otherwise, it means nothing. God pleases to receive the credits. Credit of obedience, patience and abstinence. Let’s gather more credits. Let’s avoid charges for our trespasses, stuburness and ignorance. -ash
