Job 22:26
Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty and will lift up your face to God.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, Jan. 10, DELIGHT (Job 22:26). Why many people don’t like God? Why many people feel that there is no joy in God? Why people find God is a burden in his life?
1. Just a tradition.
Many people follow God just as a dead tradition. No life in it. They went to the worship places just as a command of the parents. The parents and ancestors did it, so they also did it. They didn’t understand why and what for.
2. Just a formality.
They did it to fulfill the requirements. They just fill the out the blank in the papers. They just have the religion for info or equipments.
3. Just a religious activity.
They follow God as an empty activity. No meaning in it. They just do it for no other thing to do. Once they have other thing to do, they would leave it. They would prioritizw other things to be done first. ASH.
