Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Tue, Aug. 10, DISGUISE (I Kg. 14:6, 9, 10, 12, 14). God is an omniscience God. He knows everything. Nothing is hidden before him. On the other hand, man is so limited. He thinks that man can lie, cover or hide something before God.
1. God knows the identity.
God told prophet Abijah that the wife of Jerobeam would come to him. Although, she disguised himself, God knew perfectly and told Abijah. God also told Abijah what was her intention in coming to him.

2. God knows the sins.
God knew every sins that were done by Jeroboam. God told Abijah all the sins of Jeroboam. And she didn’t say a thing. Meaning, all of the sayings were true. All of the sins were exactly done by Jeroboam.

3. God knows the punishments.
God punished Jeroboam severely. He chose the punishment that would come to him. Man couldn’t prepare, what would happen next to avoid the omen.

4. God knows the live and death.
God told Abijah that the boy whom was sick would die right away once she arrived at home.

5. God knows the future.
God told Abijah what about the kingdom. God would raise new king for the kingdom to replace Jeroboam. Ya, God knows everything. God knows our heart. God knows the future. Everything. Let’s believe and confide our life to him. ASH.
