1 John 2:4
Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sun, Oct. 11, DO HIS COMMANDS (I Jn. 2:4). Many times, we are so confused to express our love to God. We confuse to answer the question, what is the proof of loving God? We fail to do the right thing to show our love to God. So, what is the proof of loving God?
a. Not singing Christian music and songs loudly. Not singing with tears and lifting hands.

b. Not giving a massive offering. Not bringing to the church big and expensive sacrifice.

c. Not wearing white clothes, black colored robes, priestly apparels.

d. Not changing names into a very meaningful apostolic name.

e. Not making friends with pastors and church elders.

The verse tells us that the proof of love to God is only 1, do his commands. By doing his commands, we love God. The more we do his commands, the more we love him. (ASH)
