Romans 2:11
For God does not show favoritism.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sun, Sept. 13, FAVORITISM (Rm. 2:11). Balancing everything is so difficult, if not impossible. We, often, experiencing hard times to be balance in everything. It may look like a balance, but actually it is not. For example, holding with 2 hands is a balance? Is right hand and left hand the same? I think man has big problems not to be favoritism. God can be balance in everything. He gives rain, air, heat to everyone for free. In this case, God loves man equally. Not because of his intellect, health condition, complexion, height, weight, skill and ao forth. Man is man in his eyes. No matter the condition and color of the man. To be more specific, man needs God. No man can live alone and be admitted in heaven without God. Everybody needs God. Therefore, God comes to reveal himself to man. God gives the same opportunity for us to listen to the good news. It is us who determine whether it is a good news or not. (ASH)
