Exodus 9:30
But I know that you and your officials still do not fear the Lord God.”
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, Dec. 7, FEAR (Ex. 9:30). There are many reasons for people to come to The Lord.
a. Needy.
Some people come to The Lord because they need something. When they need something, they pray. They have long lists of petitions. They would keep talking and asking God for things.
b. Fear.
Some people come to God because of fear of the consequences, punishments and bad lucks.
c. No other choice.
He comes to God because he has asked and tried all other things. He has no other way to go. He was forced to go to The Lord. Although, actually it is contrary to his will, he still comes to The Lord.
d. Love.
He comes to God, because he loves God. He loves and likes to communicate with God. Let’s love God even more. ASH.
