Psalms 103:3
who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, May 13, FORGIVE (Ps. 103:3). God is a holy God. He doesn’t like sins. He can’t tolerate sins. He is sinless. He never sin. He will not sin. But, he loves sinners. He loves not the sins of the sinners, but the person of the sinners. He loves not the person as he is. He loves the new person. Therefore, he forgives all the sins first.
1. Forgives all sins.
For God sin is sin. Sin is intolerable. No sin is allowed to present in the relationship between God and men. God can’t see sin before him. Therefore, he forgives all sins, so that no more sins have not been solved and may disturb the relationship.

2. Forgives all debts.
Sins are debts for God. God wants us to do something. But we fail to do that thing. That is debt. We don’t obey and execute the command. The will of God doesn’t happen in our life. We missed the opportunity. We can’t come back to that point. That is debt. God forgives the debts. God doesn’t make and use it to punish us.

3. Forgives all punishments.
God doesn’t punish us for our sins. God won’t bring us to the court for our sins. God doesn’t make our life suffer because of the punishments of God. But punishments are different from the result of our sins. We may still have to face the result anf consequences of our sins. Those are not punishments of God. Consequence is now. Punishment is later. So, God doesn’t punish, but he allows the consequence. So, we may be wiser and be more careful. ASH.
