Exodus 25:29
And make its plates and dishes of pure gold, as well as its pitchers and bowls for the pouring out of offerings.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, Dec. 23, GOLD (Ex. 25:29). Almost every utensils were made of a pure gold. The lampstand, the cherubims, the rings. If not made of a pure gold, they were covered by gold, such as the ark and the poles. Why so spenthrift? They were nomads. They were in the journey. How they could make such an expensive utensils like that? What is the response?
a. They didn’t complain.
They did it as soon as possible happily. No postpone, protest and problem. They didn’t stop at the middle. They obeyed perfectly.

b. They didn’t change.
The material, the size, the shape and the quality. Everything is exactly and precisely just as what God wanted them to use.

c. They didn’t careless.
No game in the making of those utensils. They were very serious and scrupulous. They offered their best effort and skill to make a masterpiece for all generations. We can see how they were totally committed to God. Let’s do the same. ASH.
