2 Chronicles 2:5
“The temple I am going to build will be great, because our God is greater than all other gods.

2 Chronicles 2:9
To provide me with plenty of lumber, because the temple I build must be large and magnificent.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, Oct. 13, GREAT (II Chron. 2:5, 9). Solomon was the wisest man on earth. His wisdom could be seen in:
1. Organizing.
He organized and managed so many people. He built a system of working and supervising. He prioritizing the building of the temple, not his palace. Where did he sleep before he built his palace? Of course in the house of his father. He waited until David died. He started to build the temple afterwards. He used all the materials, David had prepared.

2. Building.
He built the best place for God. Best in size, in look, in prize, in materials, in workers, in everything. He could use the materials, plans, people, workers and friends prepared by David.

3. Maintining.
He didn’t only have a good plans, good start, good materials, good people and so forth whom were able to start the building, but also he fed them well, so that everybody could work continuously and energetically. May God grant us with wisdom and strength to do our works today. ASH.
