2 Chronicles 33:10
The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention.

2 Chronicles 33:11
So the Lord brought against them the army commanders of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh prisoner, put a hook in his nose, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sat, Nov. 13, HUMBLED (II Chron. 33:10-11). Humility is a must in the life of everybody. Not only a believer, but also everybody. God likes a humble man. An arrogant man is his enemy.
1. God sees the arrogants.
He watches from above the arrogant men. He doesn’t take off his eyes upon them. He knows all and perfectly their acts and life.

2. God teaches the arrogants.
He reminds and teaches the arrogant through many ways. He sends his messengers to remind them. He doesn’t stop teaching them. He won’t stop speaking softly and tenderly.

3. God humbles the arrogants.
They would be humbled by God as low as possible. Not naturally but supernaturally. It is just a matter of time, before God teaches hardly. Here, we can see that King Manasseh was humbled by God. He was very arrogant. He didn’t want to listen nor to change his behavior. No wonder, God brought a very strong adversary to defeat him and treated him like a dog. He was shackled and humbled. So, we have to humble ourselves all the time. ASH.
