Esther 3:13
And letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth [day] of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sun, Dec. 12, JEWS (Est. 3:13). The Jews were hated by many people. They were hated, chased, persecuted and killed by many people. Yet, nobody could eradicate them. Since in the time of Pharaoh, surrounded kings and so forth. In this case, the persian king, Xerxes. Later, The Jews was massacred by Nazis. And still ongoing, The Jews was hated and treated badly by many nations and religions. Why?
1. Working hard.
They didn’t like to live uselessly. They uses every time very well to work hard. The Israelites in the time of Pharaoh was forced to work hard, but they prospered. In this case, Mordechai was also sitting at the door, not at home.

2. Waiting for the appropriate time.
They waited patiently for God to open a way. In the time of Pharaoh, they waited 430 years. In here, they waited for The Lord to show a way, by lifting Esther, by punishing Haman, not with their own hands.

3. Worship 1 God.
They taught their children well to love the Lord. They imbedded in the heart of the children as they grew up. This was the thing that can’t be changed. Shall we imitate them? ASH.
