Psalms 75:7
It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Fri, Apr. 15, JUDGE (Ps. 75:7). There are many evil people. If we see around us, there are many wickedness happens. We ask why? We are angry. We consider God has been wrong and wronged us. We think why not we sit there? Why don’t we replace them? We think that if we be them, we would be much better than them.
1. They are better.
Perhaps, we just don’t realize that actually they are in reality are better than us in every way. Why they could be president? Could sit at a very high position? Perhaps, they are better than us. If we sit there, we wouldn’t be able to do anything. If the responsibility is given to us, we perhaps wouldn’t do anything. We would be worse than them.
2. God have better plans.
God placed and lifted them as leaders, was because God have better plans with them. God would use them to accomplish things we can not. They could do things we can’t. They would be used by God to do secular things, hence, we focus on our own parts. Be satisfied with your parts.
3. We can be better in our own place.
If we focus on our own place right now, we can be better in the future, better than many peiple, better than them. So, we don’t have to worry towards them. We just have to work hard to develop ourselves and our roles. Maximise our credibility and ability. Don’t complain. Don’t compare. Be vigilant. ASH.
