Ezekiel 34:20
“ ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Wed, July 22, JUDGE (Eze. 34:20). This is the word that many people don’t like to hear. They like to hear blessings, provisions, protections, etc., but not judgement. Yes, who like to be judged? Who like to be punished? Who like to be humiliated? Judgement is closely connected to punishment, suffering and humiliation. Although not always someone who is judged is punished or humilated. But, often, that is what happens after judgement. Unfortunately, we can’t avoid to hear this word. We can’t avoid to be judged. What we can avoid is its punishment and result of the judgement. Therefore, we have to live according to the will of God day by day if we want to avoid its negative result. -ash
