Numbers 18:23
It is the Levites who are to do the work at the tent of meeting and bear the responsibility for any offenses they commit against it. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. They will receive no inheritance among the Israelites.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sun, Feb. 21, LASTING (Num. 18:23). God is perfect. Everything is not decided or decreed carelessly. God doesn’t make things only for temporary application. It is everlasting. It is once for all. It is not changed or revised. God is unlike men whom are always changing. What is not changed:
a. His love.
He loves us unconditionally. It is never changed into a conditional love. Not because we deserve to be loved. We are never deserved to be loved. God’s condition is beyond men’s ability.

b. His presence.
He never leaves us no matter what. Not because we obey him, he is close and when we disobey, he leaves us. He dwells in us. He will never forsakes nor abandons us.

c. His power.
He is mighty forever. He is all powerful. His power guarantees everything moves in order, in time and in place. His power never reduced, never changed, never added. He is almighty from everlasting to everlasting. Praise God who loves us and stands beside us with his powerful hands. ASH.
