Genesis 18:12
So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Tue, Oct. 27, LAUGHED (Gen. 18:12). Laughing is good. It can boost the mental and physical health. But laughing can be no good too, when it is done as a response toward the promise of God. God gave his promise to Abraham. Sarah also heard this promise. The promised is that they would have a son. Both of them laughed. Abraham laughed (Gen. 17:17). Sarah laughed (v 12). Perhaps, we also would laugh, if we were there. Fortunately, God didn’t angry and pull his promise back. Yes, God is an unchangable God.
a. His will.
He wanted Abraham to have a son. It was firmed.

b. His choice.
He chose Abraham to be the father of many nations.

c. His power.
He controlled and made everything happen in and on time. He has said that next year. Then, it would happen next year.

So, who are we want to change God? Who are we whom will doubt the word of God? (ASH)
