Job 41:1 “Can you pull in Leviathan with a fishhook or tie down its tongue with a rope?
Job 41:15 Its back has rows of shields tightly sealed together;
Job 41:18
Its snorting throws out flashes of light; its eyes are like the rays of dawn.
Job 41:19 Flames stream from its mouth; sparks of fire shoot out.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sat, Jan. 29, LEVIATHAN (Job 41:1, 15, 18-19). This is the most amazing and at the same time, the most scary creature, which God ever created. The translation says that this is a croc. But, how can a croc shoots flames from its mouth? Many of its characteristics show that this may look like a croc, but that particular ability makes it not a croc.
1. Snorting.
It snorts a flash of light. I never see a croc snorts a flash of light before. Usually, it snorts water. But, this is light. It can not be a very distinctive croc which lived at that time only, the time of Job.

2. Snaring.
It is also snaring with its eyes, which are so sharp. Its eyes are said so sharp as if is shining like the dawn of day. The sun is appearing at the dawn. Are the eyes of the croc shining like the sun?

3. Shooting.
Not only snorting and snaring, but it is also shooting fire from its mouth. Really amazing. Is it a dragon? Is it a godzilla? Whatever it is, we know for sure, nobody can tame it. It shows the power and mystery of God. ASH.
