Judges 16:4
Some time later, he fell in love with a woman in the Valley of Sorek whose name was Delilah.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, May 24, LOVE (Judg. 16:4). Love is blind. That is what people say and believe. That is what happened in this story about Samson. Is it true? Love made him didn’t care whether Dellilah was a:
a. Prostitute.
Her occupation was clearly stated here. She was a prostitute. How could a man of God deal, come, make friend with, sleep with a prostitute? Samson didn’t care. He was blinded by love.

b. Gentile.
She was not belong to the Israelite tribe. She was not an Israelite. Yet, Samson fell in live with her.

c. Traitor.
She betrayed Samson many times. But still, Samson believed her and wanted to sleep on her lap. She had sold him 3x, but still Samson wanted to relate with her. We should not have a blind love. We should have a shrew love. ASH.
