Deuteronomy 30:9
Then the Lord your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The Lord will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your ancestors,
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sat, Apr. 10, MAKE (Deut. 30:9). We have to understand that everything, including prosperity, health, safety, peace, etc., are not coincident. Everything is by design. Everything is made by someone. It is meant to be like that. There is someone who controls behind everything. For sure it is not us. It is not we work hard, so we can become rich. For sure, it is not because someone gives us something, so we can have it. It is God who moves the heart.
a. God is working.
God exists. He is active. He works behind, in and for everything.
b. God is determining.
God determines to whom the prosperity goes. How many, how is the prosperity come, when, where and so forth.
c. God is using.
God uses it not for the person per se, but also for the other people. God uses it to be a blessing for the community. God uses it as a testimony for his presence and perfection. So let’s be obedient and always close to God. ASH.
