Psalms 134:1
Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD who minister by night in the house of the LORD.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, June 13, MINISTER (Ps. 134:1). Ministers are the activists in the church. They can be clerics, pastors or leaders. They are not always ordained clerics. Everybody who serves in the church can be called minister. They can serve in the church, even in the night. Night time, at that time was not common time to serve, because they used to end their activities at 6 o’clock in the evening. But, because of his love, he was still active ministering in the church.
1. Cleaning.
They could do the cleaning of church’s equipments, facilities or tools. We remember the context of that time. The places in Israel were in the deserts or dusty places. So, the equipments were easily dusty. They needed to be cleaned. By love, they could do the cleaning without always be paid.

2. Lifting hands.
They could also worship God in the church at night. When everybody was at home or the situation was quiet, he worshipped God alone. He lifted his hands alone. He enjoyed his time together with God.

3. Communicating.
He enjoyed communicating with God by praying and reading his laws. Not only 1 sided communication, but double ways communications. He felt blessed. His heart was satisfied. He went home happily. ASH.
