Psalms 86:16
Turn to me and have mercy on me; show your strength in behalf of your servant; save me, because I serve you just as my mother did.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Tue, Apr. 25, MOTHER (Ps. 86:16). Everyone has a mother. He can’t be born on earth, if he has no mother. But not every mother is well known by people. Especially, in the patrilineage culture, where women are despised and considered lower than men. So, is what has happened to the mother of David. Who knows the name of the mother of David? The wife of Isai? We know the name of the father, but not the mother.
1. Keep doing her job.
Although, women are despised many times, they keep doing their jobs well. I believe women are commonly very responsible for their chores, duties and responsibilities.
2. Keep giving good examples.
Women don’t care about their names known or not. They just want to give good examples. Mostly women are happy if their families and children are fine. They don’t care about the name, as long as the family and children are taken care of well.
3. Keep offering their life to the end.
Women keep offering their life to the end. They just don’t have any deviations to do stupid things. Women focus on their parts to do as much as they can. They use their time to do those things. They spent their life to be good mother. We salute to those mother. ASH.
