Psalms 125:1
Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sat, June 4, MOUNTAIN (Ps. 125:1). I’m really blessed with this word this morning. Only 1 word really touches me, refresh me, strengthens me. Because, this word reminds me for many things:
1. Reminds me for its creator.
They were created, placed and determined to be there. They don’t move. They don’t need to move. They don’t have to do anything to be a blessing. By their silence and strength, they become great blessings. They have no will to ask things, to complain things, to say things. Just standing there and be like that for thousand of years.

2. Remind me for its strength.
They can handle strong winds. They can face changing climates. They are strong under the frozen ice. They keep shadowing the living being or non living being under them. They don’t change.

3. Reminds me for its fire.
Mountains, especially volcanoes contain fire inside. They have unceasing fire inside. The heat is inside. They are ready to shower the surrounding with hot lava. When it comes out, then, it will make its surrounding fertile. It doesn’t depend on its surrounding. It can’t be affected by its surrounding. So we have to be on fire like mountains. ASH.
