2 Kings 5:1
Now Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his master and highly regarded, because through him the Lord had given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy.

2 Kings 5:5
“By all means, go,” the king of Aram replied. “I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So Naaman left, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold and ten sets of clothing.

2 Kings 5:17
“If you will not,” said Naaman, “please let me, your servant, be given as much earth as a pair of mules can carry, for your servant will never again make burnt offerings and sacrifices to any other god but the Lord.

Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, Aug. 23, NAAMAN (II Kg. 5:1, 5, 17). God blesses a person to make him believe in God. God never blesses without a good intention. The more a person is blessed, the deeper he should know and believe God. We can see here how much God blessed Naaman
a. Position.
He was blessed to be the army commander.

b. Victory.
He was blessed to win in many wars.

c. Wealth.
He was so rich. We can see here that he brought with him so many things. He was ready to pay a person whom could him from leprosy.

d. King.
He was blessed to have a good king whom supported him right away, once he asked a permission to go to Israel.

e. Servants.
He had many good servants whom gave good advice to him. A girl servant whom told him to go to see the prophet. His servants whom told him to dip himself in the Jordan river anyway.

f. Miracle.
He dipped himself 7x and got healed right away.

We can see that all of those blessings brought him to a confession that there was no other God except The God of Israel and he didn’t want to worship anybody else, except him. Have we believe God after so many blessings in our life? ASH.
