Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Mon, Nov. 29, NEXT TO HIM (Neh. 3:7). We can not not to see this obvious words. It is repeated 11x in this chapter alone. What does it mean?
1. It means companion.
They didn’t work alone. Their fellow brothers also worked together with them. They didn’t repair, fixed and rebuild the wall alone. The
2. It means cooperation.
They didn’t work according to their own will. They worked together. They supported each other. They knew what to do to equip each other. They didn’t talk behind other people to criticize.
3. It means coordination.
They worked under 1 command, for 1 purpose. They had 1 heart. No one had other feeling. Everybody was happy in doing the things together. They poured all of their effort to make it successful. Shall we work together for the glory of God? ASH.
