Psalms 69:4
Those who hate me without reason outnumber the hairs of my head; many are my enemies without cause, those who seek to destroy me. I am forced to restore what I did not steal.
Shalom sdr, my devotion today, Sat, Apr. 9, OUTNUMBER (Ps. 69:4). Here, we can see clearer that the people whom hated David were so many. Not only many, but outnumber the hair. Wow, so many.
1. Uncountable.
Hair is uncountable. I think nobody can count the number of hair. I think nobody would count them too. They would be confused when they want to count the number of hair. Essentially, hair is uncountable. More than many. So numerous.
2. Unlimited.
Hair is growing continuously. Hair is not stable. I mean, the number of hair is growing. The length too. It will grow until very long. There are people whom don’t want to cut their hair, so the hair become very long.
3. Unstoppable.
Hair lives. Hair is not dead. Hair is alive as long as the person lives. Once it is cut, it will grow long again. So, the enemies were defeated, but they would come again. They would attack again. Really annoying and disturbing. David had many enemies. Jesus too. They planned how to harm Jesus. And finally, they were succesful, when they crucified Jesus. Be strong. ASH.
